An exciting opportunity for a Cyber Defence Consultant to join a market leading Cyber Security Company. The focus of this position is to provide Cyber Defence services to their Tier 1 client base in a range of areas including security assessment, secure deployment, attack detection and threat detection. You will be working within a team of consultants whose focus is to investigate, support and resolve detected attacks on their customers systems. This is the perfect opportunity for a candidate with a passion for Information Security to join a very experienced and forward-thinking company.

Key Skills

  • Ability to deliver hands-on consultancy that includes report writing, presentation and technical activities

Desirable Skills

  • Advanced understanding of the approach of modern attackers in terms of their techniques and the tools they use, ideally from experience
  • Technical experience and knowledge of one or more of these specialised areas;
  • Networking, computer programming and scripting, software engineering or corporate operating systems such as Windows
  • Relevant security certifications such as Crest (CRT) or Certified Tester CCT, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE and other industry specific accreditations such as OSCP, OSCE, GIAC, CISSP

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive investigation of hosts, networks and logged security events
  • Manage events from when there detected through to being resolved
  • Provide static and dynamic malware analysis and advanced host, network and memory forensics
  • Work with clients to report findings from a technical and business perspective
  • Provide feedback to research and development teams
