As a Partner Account Manager you will have the opportunity to generate awareness and adoption of the CCS frameworks as a route to trade for public sector business. This is a very unique role as you will manage the ongoing development with our partners to enable the successful delivery of IT solutions and services into UK government. We acts as a thin prime through many Crown Commercial Service Frameworks. To do this we need a very broad set of over 500 Partners to bid, win and deliver IT solutions and services. They have been successfully trading for over 10 years.

You will need to communicate significant commercial advantage using the CCS IT Frameworks to receive senior management ‘buy in’ from selling to existing and new Partners. Once achieved this will drive new business opportunities through our frameworks outside the ITTs Bramble pass back to the partner network. The objective to generate a two way business partnership that grows quarter on quarter.

Provide the business and management team with accurate and timely forecasting of new business suspects, prospects and leads via our CRM system. Help the business team focus on key partners by presenting and attending Sales operations meetings.

The successful candidate must have the capability to implement a strategic and tactical business plan, drive through on actions and ultimately drive profitable growth in the Partners outside the tenders from the internal Bid Tendering Team. The ability to build deep and sustainable relationships at all levels in the partner is crucial for this role.

Key Skills & Expertise

  • Produce a revolving 30/60/90 day plan and agree with senior management team. Drive monthly updates of your plan and schedule with management team to discuss progress.

  • Attend Onsite meetings with partners to support their business plan, growth and strategic Public sector alignment with the team.

  • Analyse and provide data that will highlight opportunities with the Partners Public sector sales plan.

  • Form a trust relationship in order for partner to share pipeline business relative to Public sector opportunities they are working on or targeting. These are added to the CRM to form your forecast.

  • Develop a 100% new business sales strategy leveraging the current business volumes/partners

  • Plan Partner visits and account plans to raise awareness of the company value proposition and build a qualified new lead pipeline against weekly/monthly targets.

  • From the outset your partner meetings should generate monthly leads for the complimentary group services against targets set in your plan.

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Public Sector experience 5+ years

  • Partnership Sales experience 10+ years

  • Direct sales experience

  • Understanding of Government procurement policies, CCS frameworks

  • Consistent sales record within the systems integrator, vendor or reseller space

  • Knowledge of Software, Cloud and / or security network technologies

  • CRM articulate, day to day tasks and weekly reporting/forecasting
